  1. Our anniversary is a special one. We got married on my parent’s anniversary and our first born grandson was born on our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Best gift we’ve ever received.

  2. Congratulations on your.10 year mark for writing your books. That is a great accomplishment. You must lead a very exciting life. Here’s to 10 more years!

  3. My husband and I just celebrated 15 years of marriage. We had a destination wedding in Vegas. Hope to go back soon.

  4. A favorite memory of an anniversary would be my parents marriage anniversary two years ago. What made that anniversary very special was the arrival of my sister from Florida to celebrate with all the family. Since my sister lives in another state the whole family rarely gets to spend time together. We got to spend time not only with her but with her husband and her children, my nieces and nephew. We celebrated in the beach and then stayed in a cabin in the mountains. With every passing year you start treasuring memories with your parents more and more. Thank you Mr. Hiatt for this opportunity and for these questions in your giveaways that always manage to make us reflect on good little bits of ours lives.

  5. My favorite memory of an annual event would have to be my local city parade. I won’t be stating the name for privacy reasons. It’s where my parents felt like they could connect with America when first moving here, and something I fondly remember and look forward to every year.

  6. I just had my 14th year anniversary with my partner. We went out to dinner and then we watched a movie. It was nice.

  7. My favourite memory is from my 60th birthday this year. My children paid for my passport & spending money & my sister flew me to her house in Melbourne , Australia for a 10 day action packed holiday. I did everything from holding & patting a snake…around my neck to casino slot machines 🙂 . It was an awesome holiday.

  8. Firstly allow me to congratulate you on 10 yeras..happy anniversary.
    Awesome as usual..always a pleasure
    😁😁😁👍👍👍❤

  9. My favourite anniversary memory will forever be the time my parents got me a Dog for my 12th Birthday. I had been persistent about getting a pet Dog but my Mom who doesn’t like animals turned it down. But to my surprise after over 2 years of asking I was surprised with one on my birthday. This is the best gift anybody ever gave me till date. I loved the Dog till it passed away about 4 years later 🥺.

  10. My family is pretty unique in our annual gathering. The extended family gets together and goes camping. There is usually around 25-30 of us and we tend to take over the campground. It’s a lot of fun and it seems like more and more people come every year.

  11. Favorite memory is local festival that happens every year in my town . Couple day’s long event with lots of music , great food and old traditional style of wardrobe with horses and carriages .

  12. I remember when my school had 25th anniversary (Silver Jubilee), I was able to take part in the science exhibition. We, me and my classmates, were able to make a television (not electronic) which could be operated manually. We made a series of pictures which would move as we rotated the lever. I had a wonderful time building it. My friends made small wooden and cardboard houses. This is my memory of an anniversary.

  13. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary with a big group! We wanted to have a picnic, but the weather let us down. Therefore, the whole bunch moved to our house, where they continued the fun.

  14. My wife and I celebrated our 10 years being a couple this year and our 8 years Wedding anniversary this year also. Our wedding tiger was there and it was such a different special wedding .she is an amazing woman in so greatful for her.

    1. We just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary this year. It felt like a wonderful milestone, especially as it still feels like yesterday that we got married. Time flies when you’re having fun!

  15. I don’t know if I’m right, but I remember the first anniversary with my partner, it was very special because we went on a trip to several areas far away from people, from the suburbs, exactly in South America, I really enjoyed those days.

  16. Wow! There are quite a few books to choose from here. In an era where anyone can publish a book it’s nice to have a site where you can sort of find new authors that are apart of a larger group that you can sort of let them do the picking for you. It’s sometimes difficult to seek out good quality authors and I see a lot here that seem like they are and the books look interesting.

  17. My favorite memory of an anniversary was my 4th wedding anniversary. My brother who I was convinced had forgotten our anniversary finally called at 9:35 pm to wish us a Happy Anniversary and he joked about me thinking he had forgotten about it. I knew he did, and figured his wife reminded him. Sadly this was the very last time I spoke with my brother as he was killed two days later by a drunk driver. I will never forget it!
    Happy 10th Anniversary to you.

  18. Congratulations on 10 years.
I don’t really have any special anniversary.
Only thing special in my live is when my kids and grandkids were born.
Thank you so much for the chance ❤️

  19. My Grandfather’s 70th Birthday and our family went to the Grand Canyon with a mule ride to the bottom of the canyon.

  20. Our tenth anniversary was definitely memorable. We were going to go out to eat to celebrate, but both of us stayed home to get over the flu together! Awful timing, but we more than made up for it eventually. Happy Tenth!

  21. My favorite memory of an annual event is this year’s annual family houseboating vacation. This included my husband, our 3 sons and their families. We all had a ridiculous amount of fun! Why was it memorial? My husband of 43 years passed away suddenly 1 month after that trip. Our lives will never be the same since his passing. Thank goodness we were all together. It’s a memory we’ll never forget. This month we would have celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary.

  22. Congrats. I’m adding some of your books to my TBR can’t wait to read and so glad to discover you. Thanks for all your hard work.

  23. My husband and I are celebrating our 23rd anniversary this year. Every year for our anniversary, we go away just the two of us for a weekend.

  24. My husband and I are getting ready to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary on 9/22! We are going camping 2 1/2 hours away at our favorite campground and we’ve rented a cabin. I know it’s going to be my favorite trip. We will visit a winery and do some rock hunting as well!

  25. Sarah Jane Ehrhart

I love that one of my favorite nephews was born on my birthday. I know it has made us feel closer even though he lives in IL and I live in FL.

  26. Dominique Cloutier

I have a friendaversary that I celebrate with my bestie. Having someone in your life for two decades is something to celebrate. Happy anniversary

  27. Marlene Seibold Rose

I remember my parents 50th wedding anniversary. It was in 1990. Now years later I have connected with a cousin who was there, I so wish I had paid attention when I was there. So I woild have known her sooner.

  28. Tamera Farquharson

My anniversary was last month and it always reminds me of my beach trips with my mom. My husband and I got married at the same beach while on vacation with my parents and my siblings. The beach was my mom’s favorite place in the world. She passed away 2 years ago. My husband and I now take our kids to the beach every summer to celebrate our anniversary.

  29. We just celebrated my grandparents 65th wedding anniversary! We made a digital photo collage of photos of them when they were younger.

  30. We’ve had some great anniversaries. My favorite wedding anniversary memory was when we got to go to a really fancy restaurant around here and dress up really nice. It was a nice change for us because we never do that.

  31. Congrats on 10 years!! My favorite anniversary-type memory is the birth of my niece and nephews. Their birthdays are anniversaries to me.

  32. Happy Tenth Anniversary! My partner and I have been together for six years but we don’t really celebrate in a big way. I rather enjoy our birthdays more since they’re so close together and we like to invite family over for the day.

  33. My grandparents came to this country from Italy – many, many years ago. We celebrate the day they arrived at Ellis Island holding each other’s hand— just kids with great dreams. That was the day they began their new life. That day means a great deal to our family.

  34. My favorite memory of an annual event was that of a Sant Jordi day, where the boys give roses to the girls and the girls give books. Well, I forgot to buy roses for a girl and what I did was to buy tickets to the botanical garden. She was delighted.

  35. My wife and I just celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary. I can hardly believe that much time has passed, because we’ve had fun almost every single day. 🙂 Congratulations on your ten year anniversary!

  36. Congratulations on your tenth anniversary. I love celebrating special memories with my family, but I do not have an anniversary to celebrate. I love celebrating Mothers day with my children.

  37. Last year for our 2nd anniversary my husband and I visited the chapel in Vegas where we got married! I also got to see a lot of Vegas I has never seen before, and eat at the revolving restaurant on top of the Strat!

  38. My favourite memory was when my Husband and I travelled to Saint Lucia for the first time for our anniversary. It was such an epic experience.

  39. We celebrated someone’s birthday, we got drunk and almost got caught by the cops for doing something stupid. Truly an unforgettable memory.

  40. For my Cancerversary 16 of my family went on a cruise with me and my daughter. We had both been diagnosed with cancer and just finish all our treatment. To celebrate being cancer free.

  41. I dont have really any good anniversary memories in my life so far, and i havent know of this author for more than a couple months… so not really sure what i can add here. lol

  42. My wife and I have been married 19 years. We have three children and went through major life events we could not have anticipated, but we got through them because of our characters.

  43. Congratulations on the anniversary! My best memory would probably be related to my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. It was a great celebration.

  44. The anniversary of my meeting my amazing wife is always the most special to me. I was and am still amazed by her and her love every day!

  45. We couldn’t afford nice rings when we got married. My husband surprise me many years ago when when we went out to dinner for it he bought me a nice set and had it hidden in his boot! A nice surprise!!

  46. My wife and I went on a dinner cruise for our 5 year wedding anniversary. It was pretty awesome! She says “I did good”.

  47. My husband and I have been together for 10 years. However, this November will officially be one year together as husband and wife. We got married 11/11 and definitely looking forward to celebrating

  48. Wow! I certainly understand why your anniversary so so important to you! What a meaningful and lovely tradition! Congratulations

  49. My favorite anniversary memory is the trip my husband and I took earlier this year to celebrate our 19th anniversary. I had always wanted to see Mount Rushmore and my hubby surprised me with a trip there to finally see it in person! It was very special to me because my dad had taken a road trip when he was young and saw it while it was still under construction and took some really incredible black & white photos with an old Brownie camera. I had always wanted to see it completed as an ode to him as he was never able to see it when it was completed.

  50. On ourv15th anniversary we were eating off paper plates and using disposable cutlery as most of our house was pack up doing to buying a new house. It was a low key anniversary but i think its one of the most memorable ones.

  51. A favorite memory of mine is attending Family Reunions on my mama’s side of the family. This was a yearly event. As a child, it was such a large gathering, cousins, aunts, uncles…seemed every year I got to meet new family. Now, 45 years later, that large gathering is not so large anymore. We are few in numbers now. It may sound depressing, but I understand that life happened and this is where we are at now. I, however, am very thankful for every year, every memory that I have. RIP to those that passed and praise God that the few of that it is, can still make memories.

  52. Happy Anniversary. My favorite memory of an Anniversary is my grandparents 50th Anniversary. My grandfather passed on my 7th birthday but my grandmother celebrated her anniversary privately every year. For their 50th, my family planned a huge family reunion with family from all over the country. It was a wonderful time.

  53. One of my favorite memories from when I was growing up was attending some of the local fairs/carnivals that were held in the area where I live during the summer months. I had such a good time attending those fairs/carnivals with my friends and family members. I only wish they were still being held today so kids could experience how much fun they were to go to.
