I would love to go to Hawaii. My grandparents would go every year for 6-8 weeks. My parents have been to spread my grandparents ashes. I would love to go to see a beautiful place where two of my favorite people would visit and loved so much.

This summer, I have some exciting plans lined up! I will be taking my three kids to Disneyland for the first time, which is sure to be a magical experience for us all. As the kids get older the more busy with summer plans. We have baseball, swim lessons, camping, zoo trips, local town festivals and parades, state fair trips, birthday parties, … getting a weekend to just chill comes very few between… enjoy the time while it last, kids grow up so fast, I’m already missing the baby stage
Enjoying the summer with the kids out of school. They enjoy going to the local library to pick out some books and movies. Getting together with cousins to play with and other fun activities are planned!

June is Pride month and since I was the original founder of Washington DC’s annual Gay Pride Day back in 1974, it’s been a very busy month for my husband and I. Parades, festivals, interviews by local TV news, meetings, lectures…and a big concert featuring Billy Porter. But all of it is a dress rehearsal for next year when we’ll be celebrating both the 50th anniversary of DC’s Pride but also World Pride, an event expected to bring 3 million people to our city from around the world. Y’all come!
