      June has been very hot here in NorCal. 105° yesterday. Time to stay inside and catch up on my reading.

    1. I would love to go to Hawaii. My grandparents would go every year for 6-8 weeks. My parents have been to spread my grandparents ashes. I would love to go to see a beautiful place where two of my favorite people would visit and loved so much.

  1. My plan for the summer is to find a quiet place to rest, watch movies and read a lot. I want peace and, if possible, to eat well.

      I am an avid book reader, I read 6-7 hours a day. I really feel the need for it. I will definitely find many interesting books here. Encourage your children to read more. Happy reading everyone.

    My summer plans are to spend some quality time with my family. We’re going to the beach to have some fun in the sun!

  7. I plan to go out with my girlfriend and take an excellent trip around the world, I plan to visit many places in the Dominican Republic to feel good and that.

  8. I plan on going for a lot of boat rides this summer with my family. My brother and nieces and nephew are visiting in June.

  9. It is winter here right now and freezing cold. In summer I will be spending as much time as I can at the beach, under a tree, n a blanket, with a coffee & a book .

    I really don’t have any summer plans, yet. Just had hip replacement surgery, so physical therapy is in the cards for summer!

  17. I don’t have any summer plans. I’m hoping I can go on vacation to the beach. I will probably spend most of my time at the lake with family and friends.

  18. Having a pest infestation problem. Have racoons in the attic and mice in the basement. Thinking about getting a cat (or two).

  19. This summer, I have some exciting plans lined up! I will be taking my three kids to Disneyland for the first time, which is sure to be a magical experience for us all. Additionally, I will be reuniting with my brother in California after two years apart, which will undoubtedly be a special and emotional reunion. Finally, I will be heading to Louisiana with my husband, kids, and mother to visit family, creating even more cherished memories together. We sure have a fun and love-filled summer ahead!

  21. I just got back from visiting my son and his family in a different state. That’s all I had planned so far this summer.

  25. I used to read these types of books, when I was young and loved fantasy stuff – but now I’m old and go for non-fiction writings like the Bible and other prophecy books.

    I am going to be spending some of my summer hopefully getting a hip replacement that I need real bad.

  28. As the kids get older the more busy with summer plans. We have baseball, swim lessons, camping, zoo trips, local town festivals and parades, state fair trips, birthday parties, … getting a weekend to just chill comes very few between… enjoy the time while it last, kids grow up so fast, I’m already missing the baby stage

  29. Enjoying the summer with the kids out of school. They enjoy going to the local library to pick out some books and movies. Getting together with cousins to play with and other fun activities are planned!

    I’m looking forward to my niece’s preschool graduation on Tuesday and my other niece’s birthday party on June 18th!

  31. My summer plans include spending time with family, cleaning out my closet, traveling to Vero Beach, and reading a few books.

  32. Camping. Having our adult children from all over the country met and spend 4 days together with their families.

  33. June is Pride month and since I was the original founder of Washington DC’s annual Gay Pride Day back in 1974, it’s been a very busy month for my husband and I. Parades, festivals, interviews by local TV news, meetings, lectures…and a big concert featuring Billy Porter. But all of it is a dress rehearsal for next year when we’ll be celebrating both the 50th anniversary of DC’s Pride but also World Pride, an event expected to bring 3 million people to our city from around the world. Y’all come!

  34. My plan for summer is to chill on the beach for hours and read some of these novels! I have to make sure to bring the sun screen!

  35. Wish I had summer plans. No big ones this year. Maybe a trip to Boise, Idaho in the future tho!! Just gonna chill by the river and float on the lake!! Hope y’all have a great summer!!
