  1. I am definitely more of a spring/fall lover because I don’t like the heat. I am thankful to the person who invented the air conditioner!

  2. I try not to work in the summer heat, but only in the morning and evening. Drinking water is limited, only tea. I take a shower several times a day.

  6. Alec Rommel Berja

Beach! there’s nothing better than having a tropical beach with your friends and family. Refreshing and you tend to forget the heat of the summer.

  7. I simply stay off playing Diablo 4 bc that shit feels like the sun in my room, otherwise is kinda fresh out here.

  11. I will share a little story how to deal with the summer heat:
In the scorching summer heat, Sarah discovers an old, shaded grove near her house. She visits it daily, where a gentle breeze rustles the leaves and a small stream provides cool relief. One day, she meets an elderly woman there who shares her wisdom on enduring heat: wearing light fabrics, staying hydrated, and using natural remedies. Grateful, Sarah applies these tips and shares them with her community, turning the grove into a peaceful oasis for everyone to beat the heat.

  12. I have a lot of trouble dealing with summer heat. Since we have a garden, I tend to it just before dawn and then return to the air conditioning venturing outside very little.

  13. I deal with the summer heat by cranking the window A/C’s and holing up indoors or I get out in the water at my fave local lake!

  14. I actually love the summer heat, so I don’t really worry about it. It’s the winter cold I really don’t like.

  15. Lots of hydrations and air conditioning. One of my favorite drink recipes is as follows (smells like fruit punch but super healthy) you double strength brew raspberry or wildberry zinger tea (we use Celestial seasonings) and once cool, sweeten with cranberry juice to taste and add some lime zest and/or juice to pique the flavor, serve over ice (which is why I double strength brew the tea so it doesn’t get diluted)

  16. My wife and I chill in the bedroom (where the air conditioner is). Other than that, dress with as little as possible, drink lots of cold water (I freeze mine in bottles), wet your face/head with cold water, have a cold shower (or a hot one and walk into a room with the AC on).

  17. still waiting for the heat – it has been unseasonally cool here this year. However, it has been perfect for sitting on the deck with a ice tea by my side and reading my favorite new books!

  18. I love swimming in the pool and I also love air conditioning! I like sitting under a big tree in my yard. My dog always comes out and sits with me. He’s a Husky, and he loves sitting under the tree in the grass, but only on days that it’s not too hot. Otherwise, my dog is inside enjoying the air conditioning. It was 90° F last week. Today it’s 64° F, and it’s been a really nice break from the summer heat!

  19. We have one portable air conditioner, so when it’s hot the best things to do are eat ice pops, run in the sprinkler, or go swimming at the lake/beach.

  20. My family survived a whole day outside at a San Antonio theme park in July. We kept filling up the reusable water bottles and had face misters to beat the heat and we made it!

  21. We’re expecting 42º C in the upcoming 2-3 days where I live – I’ll stay home, drink a lot of water and avoid going out during the hotter hours of the day!

  22. Can’t believe it’s August already. Trying to enjoy what summer days remain. Nothing better than relaxing at the beach with a good book

Thanks for the chance and for doing such a wonderful giveaway! Wishing everyone an amazing summer filled with smiles! Good luck all!

  26. I have an autoimmune disease that is highly effected by the heat. If possible, You will find me in the air conditioning anytime the temperature gets over 80 degrees.

  27. We plan a beach day! We try to be outside as much as possible in the summer here in Michigan because we have such long winters.

  28. We plan a beach day! We try to spend as much time outside as possible in the summer as we have such long winters here in Michigan.

  29. I am in Australia where it’s winter at the moment; however, during our hot summers, when we experience severe bush fires too – I tend to go out later in the evening and avoid walking around during 3pm- when it is the hottest time of the day.

  30. I don’t have A/C, so staying home during the hotter hours of the day and keeping myself hydrated is the way to go!

  31. I live in New Zealand so it is pretty cold and Winter here right now. In summer we use the fans a lot at night because it gets hard to sleep in the heat.

  32. I usually try to avoid heat at all costs. So generally stay in the air conditioned spaces wherever I can find them (home, store, etc).

  33. I’ve been staying inside as much as possible in the ac. Also I have kids so I am loaded up with Popsicles and ice cream right now!

  34. In the deep heat of the summer, I take advantage of our wonderful shade trees next to the creek. Grabbing a book and enjoying the adventures, especially in my hammock.

  35. I usually love the heat, but the humidity is getting worse every year .. For that I am so grateful to have air conditioning!

  36. staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water, wearing light-colored and loose-fitting clothing, using air conditioning or fans to cool down, and avoiding strenuous activities during the hottest part of the day

  37. I keep a Ice Cold Gatorade Zero Sugar drink in the fridge and take a few sips. Then I do some brief squats or light body exercises to get my blood flowing and I swear it literally helps me adapt to the day whatever the temperature is. Apart from that I try to spend time outside so I’m used to it if at possible and that way the cool A/C or a cool shower or a fan feels like 3x as good!

  38. How do I deal with the summer heat? I turn on a fan. I live a few miles from the beach in San Diego and this summer has been very mild. Well except for the Hurricane that dropped and inch or 2 of rain a couple of days ago.

  39. Well, I try to stay at home as long as possible and keep drinking the water which is a necessity during heat waves.

I hydrate, wear shorts and a tee, stay in the shade or inside in air conditioning and keep lots of ice cream in my freezer

  43. Richelle Leffler

I deal with the summer heat by staying indoors more often in the air conditioner.
If I am outside I love to always be in the water.

  44. donateeverything

How do I deal with summer hear? I stay away from the sun. I hang thick curtains and drapes and install awnings. I mostly stay indoors and use umbrella outdoors.

  45. As someone who lives in the Philippines, dealing with the heat is a part of daily life. But this summer heat is hotter and humid than usual, so it was another struggle. I see most comments says they use AC, well I don’t own an AC, so my electric fans are definitely my partners helping me deal the heat lol and ofc, make sure to stay hydrated!

  46. I stay inside in the air conditioning as much as possible! If I am attending an outdoor event, I drink plenty of cold water and bring my neck fan!

  47. Thanks and good luck everyone. I can stand the heat very well all day with the air conditioning working at 100% hahahaha

  48. I don’t have an AC or an electric fan, so my whole life depends on the tiny hand fan that I have. It’s too hot outside to do anything, I just have to endure the last few days till the heatwave ends

  49. i deal with summer heat by staying inside with central air but that hasnt been working much this year as it is been extremely hot

  50. When possible, I am in the water. If not at a pool then I am hiding in the A/C or under the shade of a tree with a breeze blowing, of course always with a good book

  51. When it’s insanely hot in the summer, I try and be active outside like gardening or walking my dog only in the early morning and early evening hours!

  52. There’s so many ways to beat the heat where I live. It gets really hot sometimes but not like in the West/Southwest. I have A/C and that’s my main beating the heat weapon. But electric in my building goes out frequently, especially during/after storms. Right now my A/C is not working. In that instance, I purchased a nice strong fan just in time for a 90 degree day, and along with my cheap little fan, and a good book, it feels very cool in here. Ice cream, or even better, a nice smoothie made with frozen fruit and a sweetened with Stevia protein powder is great for hot weather. I just have to watch out for ice cream headaches. If all else fails, a nice shower (sans book) works too.
