May Reading

If you’ve read Different Lee and enjoyed it, I recommend try Soul Switch, the second volume in the series

Soul Switch

DL is used to his life being turned upside down by the supernatural. He has an inner dragon. The love of his life, Ekaterina, is a vampire. His best friend, Max, is a sorcerer in training. They live together in an old house still haunted by the ghost of the previous owner.

Yet when Max’s girlfriend Adreanna is kidnapped, DL’s life becomes even stranger. Rescuing her means following a crazed spellcaster into an unknown world without having a clue of what perils they will face. They don’t even know if they can ever return. How much is Max willing to do for love? How much is DL willing to do for friendship? Their limits will be tested in ways they never imagined.

Last month, I mentioned Ivy League Illusion on Substack, which is related to the Different Dragons series, so there’s no point mentioning that again so soon. Instead, I’ll suggest a short serial related to the Spell Weaver series but easily readable as a standalone.

World Crossed Lovers

Exploring other universes can lead to your heart’s desire–or to your death.

When Eva O’Reilly returns to her hometown for a short visit, she expects old memories to be stirred up. What she doesn’t expect is to encounter someone who looks eerily like her childhood crush grown up. What makes the encounter even more unsettling is that her childhood crush died when he was twelve. Is the stranger a ghost? The truth is even more surprising and threatens to pull Eva into a web of magic from which there is no easy escape.

Part I of Word Cross Lovers (five-part serial)

    1. According to the Gleam help center, you should only need a recovery code if you logged in with a social media account you have since deleted. If you’re having to request one every time and you aren’t trying to log in with a deleted account, I would suggest reaching out to Gleam support. They’ve always been helpful to me when I had an issue from my side. If there is a glitch, they can probably fix it for you.
