June 2022 Giveaway

Note: My giveaway provider is currently experiencing technical difficulties. When I tried to draw winners, the process got stuck at 67%. It is currently still jammed at that point and unable to advance. I have requested technical support, but it is early morning in Australia, where the provider is located, so the problem may not get fixed for several hours. I will finish the drawing and announce the results as soon as I am able to do so.

  1. We have a large family and this time of the year is always fun with a lot of graduations and weddings.

  2. Not married , and graduation don’t actually remember , was to drunk to remember anything for few weeks

  3. My husband and I are from Michigan and we married in Las Vegas in 2007. Was truly an amazing experience for us and our family. Next month is our anniversary. If I get lucky and win and Amazon gc I will treat him to an amazing gift!

My Nephew graduated from high school and then, went into the Marines. He graduated from the Marines, 3 years ago. I got to see him graduate from both and and it was great to see him following his dreams! He’s always wanted to be in the Military, ever since he was young. I’ll support him in anything that he wants to do, after.

  5. The best feeling I experienced when I graduated was getting to step on a stage and see your fellow peers’ faces of joy.

  6. High school graduation was alright for me, kind of sad to lose so many “friends” who move on later in life.

  7. i remember being a flower girl for my aunt’s wedding — only i ran off to the park to play with another kid in the wedding party. it was some boy i can’t even remember the name of now lol

  8. My wedding was 50 years ago . I was so nervous I forgot to take my marriage license to the church for the minister to sign and had to go back and get it. GOT IT !

  9. I remember my Graduation.I almost failed marine science but my teacher was super nice and let me take an extra assignment so I could pass.

One time at a friends wedding,Someone go so drunk and knocked the food table over. They were on my friends wife bad side STILL to this day for that.

  10. I recently went to my daughter’s graduation for her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She worked full time while studying for it and I was so very proud of her.

  11. Mr. Hiatt always delivers! Thank you for another amazing giveaway! Keep up the awesome work! Best wishes! 😀

  12. Whoops, my bad. I replied earlier without answering the question I was supposed to. Please excuse my double post. When I think about weddings I think about my sister’s wedding. She was so happy to finally marry her husband that day and her wedding was such a happy moment for everyone. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out in the end and they are no longer together but that is how life goes, some highs and some lows. The only thing we can do is to remember the good things and not focus on the bad.

Thank you Mr. Hiatt for another giveaway opportunity!

  13. Last time i was on a wedding i was so happy about it that i drunk to much..this was a bit odd, cause i cant remember much.

  14. A really good friend was having a backyard wedding…she called about 2 hours before the wedding that the bartender she hired called to cancel. So I ended up bartending her wedding. So instead of celebrating with her, I ended up working the event, and never even got a thank you.

I think that whoever chooses the covers for your books has done a good job .lots of colour and detail.

    1. Credit goes to my cover designers. Most of my recent books have been done by Peter O’Connor of Bespoke Book Covers. The covers for “Angel Feather” and the books in the Soul Salvager series have been done by Julie Nicholls.

  16. My granddaughter graduated from high school last week. It was an awesome ceremony. We went out to Olive Garden afterwards.

  17. Charlene Drake

Hubby and I were in his home state of NC and visited with some old friends of his. One had a wedding coming up of a relative that hubby knew from years ago. They invited to the wedding….and omg one of the best weddings we have ever been to.

The venue, the dancing the food everything was great, so glad we got to attend.

  18. The last graduation I was at was for my youngest son. I felt such a rush of pride and a kind of sadness. It reminded me how fast they grow up and now, entering a new era of his life, on the road to becoming independent. It also reminds me that I’m not getting any younger and if there is anything I really want to accomplish in life, I better get a move on.

  19. The best wedding that I have been to was my brother’s wedding. It was not that expensive, but it was still quite exquisite. They got a great deal on catering and my brother’s friend was a DJ who offered his services for free. My sister-in-law and her friends were quite crafty and creative with the decorations.

I got married in 1993, but I can remember my own wedding like it happened yesterday. The minister was late to our wedding and when he finally got there, he had bed head! It didn’t matter though, because it was the marriage that counted anyway, not the wedding itself.

  21. The stories I would have to share about weddings & graduations are all either too depressing, too horrific, too problematic, or too risqué to post here.

  22. My son graduates this year. He’s going into the 9th grade. Time has flown by too fast and soon he will be leaving for college. My oldest is almost 18 and I still have two younger children at home. I remember my son’s kindergarten graduation and now he’s one step closer to high school.

  23. I have thought of writing for many years & the writing part doesn’t seem so bad…when the reality of what it takes to get published is so daunting to me. Thank you!

  24. I think a good graduation present would be a year’s worth of long term food storage, it’s a great gift.

  25. Thanks! At my best friend’s wedding they stole the food and drink. We had to go grocery shopping at market with our suits on.

    1. I look forward to seeing my niblings graduate many years from now. See them from infant to graduate will be cool.

  26. Great wedding , lot’s of people , fantastic food, drinks and overall atmosphere . Music band was fantastic

  27. Alexandr Dubrovin

An important event is graduation. It happens once in a lifetime. But weddings, the birth of children, your own DR, this is as much as you like. Yes, another funeral, one’s own once in a lifetime. So you also need to direct. Although already at this holiday, you participate as part of the interior. Don’t drink, don’t have fun)

  28. Kathy Cozzarelli

The first road trip I remember taking with my family was to my cousin’s wedding two states away. That’s also the first wedding I remember.

  29. I was married on June 2nd and had a very small and informal wedding. I also happened to be 9 months pregnant and gave birth to my first child just 6 days later.

  30. My best friend’s granddaughter had her HS graduation this month. It lasted 4 hours in the hot sun.
    Thanks for the contest.

  31. Weddings in my family are a lively and boisterous event. We are a bit too loud, but only because we are such a happy bunch.

  32. My stepsister got married this year and the wedding was a disaster. She did a poor job of communicating with the venue/event planner who got angry with her. Not to mention the table centerpieces were terrible and every store was out of paper plates.

  33. I like simple weddings. We got married very young, and just had a courthouse wedding. We’ve been together 45 years. My daughter, on the other hand, had a fancier one. Still on budget, and she did most things herself, but still cost over $6,000.

  34. I still remember the first wedding I attended. I was the flower girl and tossed flower petals before the bride. I think I was five; sixty-five years later, that event still bring a smile to my face.

  35. When we threw our caps at graduation, I didn’t really keep an eye on mine, but I didn’t decorate mine, so i grabbed another one that wasn’t either.

  36. I never went to college, so witnessing my son graduate from college 4 years ago made me so proud! Three years ago he graduated from Army Basic Training and AIT (Advanced Individual Training) and that made me even prouder than his college graduation. He has already accomplished a lot in his young life!

  37. My niece will be getting married soon. She keeps changing her plans now she has decided to elope yet we are invited to go along. LOL So that is the plan for now should be fun either way.

  38. Although there is much struggle right now, there is still so much to be grateful and thankful for! Hustling everyday just to put food on the table, but I will survive to see my grandson graduate!

  39. This year is the 50th year of my high school graduation. So much has changed in the world. We were so innocent back then. One of my most enjoyable years.

  40. Amber Lee Kolb

My husband was just in our friend Timmy’s wedding the first weekend in June and it we had such a wonderful time! The Bridge and Groom definitely did the cash smash full tilt. Good thing they wore ponchos lol.

  41. I’ve got 2 graduation parties to attend this summer. In addition to celebrating the new grad, I love getting to catch up with all the friends and family I don’t see as often.

  42. Joanne Schultz

My niece graduated with an MSW last year & one of the speakers, live, not recorded, on the big screens at the stadium, was Dr Fauci!

  43. I just went to my friend’s wedding last month. The ceremony was lovely but there wasn’t AC in the venue so it was 85 degrees. Everyone was sweaty, but it was still a lovely ceremony.

  44. When I went to my sister’s wedding, the church it was held in had like a hotel suite built onto it. It was popular for weddings because it was at a lake resort, but it still had pews and everything and looked like a normal church.

  45. I’m just grateful for my immediate family, and that people who are lucky enough to still get together and celebrate.

  46. I went to a friend’s wedding held in a small nondenominational church. There were several people there, not tons but quite a few. I caught the bouquet which was the first and only time that ever happened. I’m still unmarried but there’s time yet.
